Who is behind this?

We are a mom, a daughter, and a good friend who all got together to do this project. Our goal is for this to be a heartful service project that sends tangible love letters and drawings to random addresses to remind them of who they are (ROWYA for short).

We don’t want to take up this space to talk about ourselves and our own personal websites/endeavors because that isn’t what this is about. This is just a service to the world that we deeply wanted to do. But if you are curious to know more about us, we send out more info about ourselves to anyone who becomes a patron and donates and/or signs up for regular letters to be sent to them.

What is the agenda? Are you backed by a particular organization?

We don’t have any particular agenda… Nor backing or affiliation. We are funded by ourselves and by the people who donate because they like what we do. We simply send out love and deep heart material of all kinds and from all different sources.

Where are the quotes from? Why don’t they have citations?

The written lines of love and deep consideration that we send come from a large array of places. Some come from our own thoughts and diaries. Many come from leaders, teachers, artists, emails, online posts, works of art, spiritual texts, etc. We intentionally do not cite who said them or in what context they were said because we humans have too many biases and we want the words to stand alone and be taken in however you hear them, in whatever way they have meaning to you.

Are you trying to sell me something?

The purpose of us sending out letters to random addresses is NOT to sell anything. We have committed to sending out 60 random love letters each month no matter what. However, we do offer the option for people to donate to our project so we can do more. We also offer the option to sign up to receive ROWYA letters in the mail regularly (for yourself or for a loved one) at various donation levels. We even offer a special discounted donation tier for people who would like to have letters sent to someone in the hospital, hospice, or nursing home. So, there are options where money is exchanged. And we greatly appreciate that because it keeps this dream alive and grows it bigger and bigger.

Are you a non-profit?

NO we currently are not an official 501c3 because we are such a home grown, small group. We may consider doing this in the future.

How can I make sure I get a ROWYA love letter regularly?

If you want to make sure you get a regular letter, you can either become a Patron on our Patreon page or you can secure 6 months worth of letters for yourself or anyone you would like right HERE

Can I have ROWYA love letters sent to the people I love?

Absolutely. Just put their address in instead of yours.

What if I have a loved one in the hospital or in a nursing home who would benefit from getting a ROWYA love letter?

We think that is such a great idea that we have a special discounted rate just for loved ones in special care.
